This trio is always a blast to photograph and I’m so very happy they chose me as their Dallas area baby photographer! I met Mrs. Koppelberger long ago when my oldest daughter attended All Saints. She is the head of the lower school there and was just so amazing when Blake was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD and had to transfer to a school that was a better fit for her. Fast forward a couple of years later and I get an email from her wanting to set up a photo shoot for her then 6 month old son, Liam. It has been so much fun getting to catch up with her a couple of times a year and watching her sweet boy grow up. Also, anytime my daughter Blake gets to see Mrs. Koppelberger, she runs and screams and is so excited to see her. She loved her time at All Saints and it wasn’t an easy decision to change schools.
The Nasher Sculpture Museum
I had never shot at the Nasher before, and I have actually had a few clients prior to the Koppelbergers ask about it. It’s kind of pricey to shoot there, but it is a really cool place for photography. The reason they even inquired about this location was because they got engaged there! The Nasher holds special meaning for them and their relationship and I thought it was a fantastic idea to have their family photography session there.
Liam was about 18 months at this shoot, and 18 month photos are actually pretty popular. He had such a fun time exploring the sculpture garden and since we were the only ones there before it was open to the public, he had a lot of freedom. He also fell in love with a security guard and we used her to help make him laugh and smile. This was a great morning with a great family and client!
