There are tons and tons of Dallas pregnancy photographers and I am so very thankful that my sweet long time client turned friend chose to use me again for this special time in her life!
It’s a Girl!
Kimberly has a 4 year old son and he was so excited about being promoted to big brother! He loved to kiss and hug on his mama’s belly. Kimberly wanted some dreamy and clean studio portraits as well as some outdoor photos, so we started this session in our Fort Worth photography studio! The studio is all white which is great for simple portraits keeping the focus on what is most important! We also have tons of colorful and cute things that can really make a photo a great piece of art for the home, but for this session we wanted to keep it very clean.
4 or 5 years ago, Kim saw an image I did of a client with lace over her belly. She remembered this and held on to the idea for future use and I love that we got to create that for her! Kim and Ty are expecting a girl this time so the light pink dress and floral crown were just perfect! Her dress was from Sew Trendy Accessories and the floral crown she borrowed from our studio collection. I couldn’t be happier with how the studio maternity portraits turned out, Kim looks breathtaking and does pregnancy so very well!
The outside portion of the shoot was just as gorgeous and the two looks really add a ton of variety to her gallery. I love capturing families in their last bit of time before a new baby arrives. It’s the last chance to get them as a family of 3, even if it was just for a few years. I have large canvases in my home of photo sessions I did when I just had one child and then again when I only had 3. I love them just as much as our “completed family” canvases and love looking back and remembering that sweet and simpler time.
