I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ben and Ashleigh, photographing their sweet little son Hayden for his first birthday. This family was so genuine and gracious, it just put a smile on my face!
A Gorgeous Afternoon Spent with a Gorgeous Family
They have a gorgeous home in Plano, Texas where we were able to capture their updated family portrait session. Everything about their home was breathtaking. Their backyard oasis was simply stunning and I couldn’t help but laugh as Hayden decided to jump in and get a little wet with his dad! I love photographing clients in their own homes, as I find they are so much more relaxed and natural in their own spaces. As a bonus, it’s always nice to look back on the images and remember special touches about the home they grew up in.
Hayden’s nursery was so handsome, and playful at the same time. Monogrammed bedding is so quintessential south, which I love! The colors were fun, yet soothing with the soft neutrals and the cool blues – what a perfect space for this little gentleman to grow up in. The art on the wall was one of my favorite pieces in the room. It echoed the colors so well, and featured a large giraffe just like the one in Hayden’s bedroom.
We were sure to include some photos with older brother, Jackson and sister, Presley as well. The whole family has the most piercing blue eyes – especially Jackson and Hayden. Ashleigh did a perfect job coordinating clothing styles and colors for the pictures without them being overly matching . She clearly has an eye for style, and did so well reflecting the children’s personalities with their outfits.
