When I walked into the Alcala’s home for John Judah’s newborn photos, I knew it would be such a beautiful place for a photo session. Their entire house is neutrals. Now, I’m a color girl all day long, but this home was stunning, inviting, calming and gorgeous! This family reminded me of my own if we added in one more girl, blonde mama and everyone else has dark hair and eyes. Shari is my people. Oh, AND, she is a kick ass business woman which I totally relate to and highly respect.
We started with photos with the entire family and the girls so they could head on back to school. Their master bedroom was perfection and the girls absolutely adore the little guy!
For the studio style portion of the shoot, Shari had requested a backdrop that she loved so we set that up in her bedroom as well as a John Judah blanket that made such a great little background!
The session wrapped up in his neutral (of course!) nursery with some sweet parent shots and a few more fun solo shots of the baby. What a great morning I had with this family!
