This here little mama is my lifelong buddy, we met in first grade and were obsessed with each other for our entire childhood. It was a no brainer for me to do her newborn pics, however it did mean a quick 36 hour trip to Houston. I normally don’t travel for sessions since I have three kids of my own and more than enough work in the DFW area, but every now and then there will be a special exception.

This also explains why there are both studio type posed shots and lifestyle shots from one session, we set up a makeshift studio using window light and then took the family photos around their home.

Oh and might I add, one of the dogs was so irritated with Leah that he wouldn’t even get near her on the bed for pics. Doggy feelings were definitely hurt with the arrival of Madeline.
