I just love them! Blake, my oldest daughter, and Berkeley met in preschool and became really close friends. Then they both went to kindergarten together at All Saints. But…we got some tough news when Blake was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD and had to change to a school that could accommodate her needs for the last 7 weeks of the year. The girls have remained friends, but don’t get to see each other near as often as Blake would like. I was so excited to get to go to their GORGEOUS home on a lake and photograph their family. I think they told me they have never done professional family photos. I hope they are hooked because I get to photograph them this year again around Thanksgiving.
They had this infinity edge pool that was creating the most dreamy light coming off the lake. This was probably my favorite shot of the session. I think.
They had the fantastic idea to jump and do some silly shots which we also did by the pool so it looked like they were floating. How fun!
