The last session we did of this family was in the studio. The Fort Worth Botanic Gardens was a great choice for their family photos this year to mix it up a little!

When you are choosing a location there is a lot to keep in mind. Is your child very active? Then studio would be a really difficult choice and an outdoor location would be best.

Also factor in the time of year and weather. Luckily in the Dallas Fort Worth area, we can shoot outdoors year round. It’s also very nice to have the studio as a back up plan for bad weather or if you are wanting to shoot when the foliage looks less than stellar. The Fort Worth Botanic Gardens also has a fee to shoot there, but we have plenty of location recommendations that do not have a photography fee.

The Haynies were so easy and fun to shoot! The stones and plants looked so good in their images and I can’t wait to work with them again someday!
