Summers at Paige Walker Photography are mostly filled with milestone sessions. Texas is hot, but we still stay plenty busy with our newborn, baby, 1 year and maternity shoots. Some clients prefer the air conditioned studio, while others are willing to brave the heat because they are in love with the outdoor look. These babies were all back for their 6(isn) month pictures. We recommend that the babies are sitting independently even if they are 7 or 8 months old. The shoots go much better and we can do so much more with them when they can sit up and give us those big gummy smiles!

My client had found a similar image on pinterest and loved how the bear and baby were both facing backward. So we recreated it with a Karsyn spin.

Mila is Lauren the manager’s niece, such a joy and so darn cute! Her entire session was done in the studio where we could match all her outfits to fun backdrops and really put a lot of color and personality into her images.

Eli and his mommy had a gorgeous studio session. I love when moms and dads want to pop in a few of the photos at milestone sessions.

Aloy is a tough crowd, you really have to work and be patient for him to crack a smile or two, these images are so beautiful and I actually adore his serious face! The location they chose is one of my favorites. I love how the trees frame the family. 

Carsyn, we had a blast at your session turned into wine drinking chat fest! This session was shot at Carsyn’s grandparent’s home. It’s amazing. And when Lauren and I were invited to stay after the shoot for a glass (or 3) of wine, we ended up having such a fun night getting to know our clients better!
