Geez, I could photograph just newborns and be so happy. It is the most time consuming and labor intensive shoot, that is why many photographers charge more for their newborn session fees. Typically, they take about 2.5 to 3 hours. And not a lot of that is actually shooting. It’s a lot of feeding and comforting to get the babies in the cozy sleepy zone where I can move them around and get them looking picture perfect. I am so overwhelmed with excitement that I get to go to Seattle in October and study under Keri Meyers and soak in as much knowledge as I can from her. Her newborn portraiture is where I strive to be, with my own flair of course 🙂
