I’m so happy the Horany Family chose me years ago to be their photographer! There are lots of Dallas modern family photographers in the area and it’s a complete joy and honor every time I am chosen to document a family! I have photographed them at this location before, so I was a bit concerned on how I would make it look different and make sure the session would show a more grown up side of the family now that the girls are older.
They like a contemporary and clean look. Ashley is a stylish and gorgeous mom and Ernest has a classic and tailored style so this spot was just right for them. Let me also mention that they may or may not have chosen to shoot here again because it’s one of the only location that we can start shooting at late morning or early afternoon. Ashley told me that they are not morning people, haha!
Lauren and I got to there early to snoop around and see what other areas we could find nearby that had good light or would make interesting backdrops. We thought we struck gold until this security guard came out and was so furious. We begged for just a few shots and he stood there and stared at us the whole time so we all felt really uncomfortable. I won’t be going back there again! Geez!
The girls have grown up so much and were so cute in their dresses! They are beautiful, sweet and fun to photograph. Ashley was really smart and took them to the dry bar to get their hair done before the shoot. We just love seeing this family year after year!
