Newborn photography is such an important investment.. It’s a luxury, and the Paige Walker Photography experience is one of the most luxurious in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

When you decide to book a session with us, you can expect a low stress, high end, customized experience. How do we know it’s low stress? Our moms and DADS (can you believe it?!) tell us that all the time! They say things like, “this is way easier than I thought it would be!” and “sessions we have had with other photographers have not gone this smooth!”

Here is a little bit of what you can expect when you choose us as your photography team:

Extremely fast communication! I don’t like to wait on answers and I don’t want you to wait. One of our most common responses to our emails with new clients is “thank you so much for your fast reply!” We like to call ourselves freaky fast, just like Jimmy Johns.

Lauren will hold your hand through the whole process. This is not a show-up-and-hope-for-the-best type of operation. From wardrobe guidance, planning out session colors, props and accessories, choosing the best location for your vision, incorporating any ideas you have into the session, we will talk about it all and have it planned perfectly when you arrive. You will fill out questionnaires that help us get to know you and your family better before the shoot ever happens, that also helps us to know your style and any specific requests or likes/dislikes. Some clients need more help than others, so don’t feel bad if you are calling or texting Lauren frequently with questions or needing suggestions. That is what her job is and she loves it! She has been with me for 5 years, many of our clients have become close friends and working with new clients is new and exciting for us!

We always suggest professional makeup. It makes our moms looks flawless and glamorous. For newborn sessions, you show up with your hair undone and no makeup and the makeup artist will get started on making you look amaze while you get to watch us work with your newborn! By the time your hair and makeup is done, we are usually wrapping up the newborn portion and we move onto the family shots. Our clients love this!

All of this preparation helps our sessions to run really smooth. We have a workflow in mind that has a backup workflow if we have a difficult newborn or toddler. We have seen it all! Seriously. I don’t want my clients to stress, we always get gorgeous images, always, always, always!! Just let the professionals do their thing and plan to be blown away at the view and order session!

After your session, I do a preview within a few hours. This means you get to see 2 images the very same day on social media! This all goes back to my impatient personality and how I would like to be treated as a photography client.

The final step of our process is the view and order session. This is the most fun part and such a fun way to get to see the final product, all the work that you and I have put into this. At the reveal there is laughter, tears, and awwwwwwwww. Usually followed by a “I can not believe there are so many great images!” The session starts with a stunning slideshow on our big TV set to music. After that, Lauren will present you with 5×7 proofs of every image to sort through. She will guide you through the ordering process, show you the fantastic products we offer and help you finalize your order. This is way easier than it sounds, most of our clients are in and out in an hour. At this time, we also give you a thank you gift and offer you champagne if you are feeling like some bubbly! Once your order is placed, we are freaky fast again, getting your products designed, approved and ordered ASAP and your USB made and app for your phone done that day or early the next day.
